Travel
Flying In:
- Fly into St. Thomas Cyril E. King Airport (STT)
- Book your flights early! 4-6 months or more is usually best. Flight prices fluctuate, always purchase mid-week.
Getting to St. John:
- Rent a car and take the car barge or
- Take a taxi and catch a ferry out of Red Hook or Crown Bay (Red Hook is on the East side – longer taxi, shorter ferry, Crown Bay is just over the hill but only runs at certain times. Book tickets online to save time)
- If you stay in STT, the 6:30am Red Hook ferry will arrive on Cruz Bay around 7am
- Safari taxis or car rental can easily be walked to from the ferry dock (Crown Bay ferries dock at the National Park dock across from Mongoose, and Red Hook in Cruz Bay)
Car Agencies/Repair:
- Courtesy Car Rental
- The St. John Repair Shop
Bring cash to pay for taxis and enough for tipping too!
